Subject: New version of the SOBIG virus.

Hello,

OMNIport Technical Support has seen a new version of the "sobig" virus.
The virus resides in a .pif file attachment.

The good news is if your Anti-virus is up to date should will catch
W32.Sobig.F@mm if you do mistakenly open the infected file.

Unfortunately many of you may have already seen this virus in your mail. Common
subject lines used by this virus are:

Re: Details
Re: Approved
Re: Re: My details
Re: Thank you!
Re: That movie
Re: Wicked Screensaver
Re: Your application
Thank you!
Your details


W32.Sobig.F@mm is also spoofing the sending address. This might result in
you getting a courtesy warning message from someone else's Anti-virus
package saying it received the infection from you. Chances are the warning
message is not true, but to be safe you should run a fresh scan with your
Anti-virus software to be sure.
